What are Terms and Conditions of Sale for Domestic Sales?

 

The terms and conditions of product sold in the United States are net 30 days based on credit approval.

 

All international prices are Ex-Works Factory and subject to change without notice, except when quoted prices are guaranteed for specific time periods. Otherwise, prices prevailing at the time an order is received will apply Advanced payment required, unless otherwise stated by MEECO, by one of the following methods:

 

  1. Wire transfer via New York correspondent to:

    2. National Penn Bank, Warminster, Pennsylvania (ABA#: 03130-8784) for the credit of MEECO, Account #: Call MEECO for Number.

  2. Cash in advance, payable in U.S. Dollars, including all freight and shipping charges from MEECO’s factory in Warrington, Pennsylvania, unless specified “freight charges C.O.D.”
  3. Sight draft, payable at sight against shipping documents. Please advise your bank name, physical address, and account number and account name
  4. Confirmed, Irrevocable Letter of Credit Payable at Sight in U.S. Dollars, Drawn on a USA Bank.

  • All Export Letters of Credit MUST be advised to:

  • Second advising bank: National Penn Bank, ATT: L/C Dept., 24 N. Reading Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512
  • Letter of Credit must state the following: “All bank charges outside the USA are for the account of the applicant” and “F.O.B. transshipments and partial shipments permitted.”
  • Letter of Credit must provide 21 days between the latest shipping date and negotiation date.
  • Freight terms: All freight charges to be collect unless otherwise prepaid within the L/C.

 

NOTE: There is an additional charge of $300.00 for handling Letters of Credit. Preliminary copies of Letters of Credit must be faxed to MEECO at least one week prior to bank application
