What are my Freight Charges for Units Returned for Repair Domestically?

  1. Contact the MEECO Service Department for a Return Authorization (RA) Number, prior to sending your unit, cell or part in for service. Phone: 215-343-6600, fax: 215-343-4194 or e-mail:service@meeco.com
  2. All paperwork and packaging must be marked with the RA#.
  3. Please provide the MEECO Service Coordinator with the serial number of the unit and/or cell. The serial number will help to verify if your unit is covered under the standard or our extended warranty program.
  4. Send to our factory address: MEECO, 250 Titus Avenue, Warrington, PA 18976, Attention: RA#______.
  5. When preparing the unit for shipment, please follow this procedure:
    • Place inlet and outlet caps on the unit prior to transporting. Failure to put the inlet and outlet caps on the units may cause damage to your flow system and/or cell, and will void the warranty on your unit.
    • Package the unit in an appropriate box that is suitable for the weight and size of what you are shipping (preferably the box in which it was originally shipped.) MEECO recommends double wall suspended or double wall with foam. If proper packaging is not used, you will be charged for an appropriate box for your unit’s return. Ensure you have enclosed paperwork with your company name, contact person, phone and fax numbers.
  6. You are responsible for all freight charges to and from MEECO. If your unit is covered under our standard or extended warranty, you are monetarily responsible for the freight to MEECO, and MEECO is monetarily responsible its return. Any shipment with inbound freight expense will be invoiced.
  7. If your unit is not currently under warranty, you may receive a 10% discount on your unit’s repair if your unit qualifies forthe program and if you concurrently purchase an extended warranty. With MEECO’s Compliance 9000 extended warranty, your unit will be covered for one year from the date your serviced unit is returned. For more information, please contact the Sales Administrator at ext.131.
  8. For customers whose MEECO analyzers are under warranty, to avoid additional charges, the defective part being replaced must be returned to MEECO within 45 days after receiving the warranty advance replacement part.
